Simple ways to help raise money for Rio Rancho Soccer Club
The RRSC Board works very hard to keep soccer affordable for you. Fundraising is one of the key ways we can jointly achieve this goal. In our last fiscal year 4.7% of our revenue came from fundraising, sponsorship, and donations. Two years ago it was 22% (due to a one time grant award!

Sunbelt Granola Bars (http://www.sunbeltfreekicks.com/) is running a national promotion with USYSA where they’ll donate $0.10 back to RRSC with the purchase of each box. With each purchase, RRSC is also entered into a monthly drawing to either win $1,000 or a grand prize drawing of $2,500 by entering a code off of the box top. Even if we do not win, we still have the chance to make a little money while introducing the kids to healthy snacks (recall the RRSC Vision of Creating Lifelong Active, Healthy Youth through the Beautiful Game of Soccer!). Sunbelt Granola bars are available at several local grocery stores. There is one trick though; they may not be with the other Granola Bars, but rather they may be found with the Little Debbie and Hostess Products in the bakery aisle. Be sure to save the box-top. You can register yourself to enter the codes directly (and have a chance to win a $25 Eurosport Gift Card) or hand them back off to Jeanette, Junro, or Matt. Whatever is easier for you! One benefit of registering is that the first five clubs in the USA with 100+ people opted-in will receive a cash grant of $1000. More easy money! This promotion ends on August 31, 2010. Applebee’s Dine to Donate: Saturday September 11, 2010. Present this RRSC flier when you pay your bill for RRSC to earn 10%. In September of 2009, we earned $149.61. Our aim is to hit $250 this fall. Spread the word. Coordinate a team party. Invite the grandparents and the neighbors |
